Smith Metal Works LTD. is a metal Fabricator Company that is seeking a Draftsperson to join our team.

The candidate should:

• Has at least 3 years of drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of the building construction process and detailing.
• Have good knowledge of the Ontario building code.
• Ability to read and create shop drawings based on blueprints/architectural drawings.
• Develop concepts, detailed drawings and models of considerable complexity using specifications, calculations, and vendor data.
• Demonstrate high accuracy for detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with design drawing codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
