Description Job Summary Magnolia Plumbing, Inc. is currently looking for a Waste Water Apprentice in the Laurel, MD Office. The primary responsibility in this position is to provide assistance to the waste water technician's in the performance of cleaning sewer lines, ejector pumps, waster water management in varying residential and commercial buildings. In this role you will learn the operation of storm water management facilities, grease interceptors, storm ejector systems, sewage ejector systems, sediment pits, septic tanks and sewer lines. This an entry level position with room and opportunity to grow. Job Responsibilities (but not limited to): Assist the Drain Cleaning Technician and/or CDL Pump Truck Operator on the job site with the completion of the work scope Drive the company vehicle, to include towing of equipment Use ADC map books and/or GPS to navigate Learn how to properly drive all of the company vehicles Plant maintenance, overall clean up Hours may vary based on workload Participate in a rotating on call schedule Requirements Previous experience drain cleaning a PLUS! Experience with varying tools GED or High School Diploma Valid class Driver’s License, with clean driving record Reliable Transportation O.T Medical card (we will help you obtain) Willing to work long hours and weekends Okay with working with waste / septic materials
