No prior experience is required—we're looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills who are eager to learn the trade! As a Drain Technician, you’ll evaluate customer needs, provide repair options, and perform drain cleaning services. You’ll have the chance to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. In addition to a competitive wage there are excellent benefits including: • 100% paid insurance premiums on medical, dental, and vision for the employee • 401k & Roth 401k plans with up to a 4% company match • 100% paid long-term disability insurance • Paid life insurance plan • 2 floating holidays • 6 paid holidays • Vacation pay • Paid weekly • On-the-job training and opportunities for career growth Responsibilities Include: Diagnose and clear drain blockages using cable machines, hydro-jetters, & other equipment Perform sewer camera inspections to identify issues such as breaks, roots, or bellies Repair or replace drain and sewer lines as needed (minor repairs or assisting with larger excavations) Locate sewer and water lines using locating equipment Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring understanding of system operation and any necessary maintenance Identify opportunities to offer additional services, upgrades, or preventative maintenance Consistently meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly performance goals Fulfill on-call duties according to the department schedule Accurately record work performed, materials used, and hours worked Safely operate and maintain assigned company vehicle and equipment Requirements Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or related field preferred Valid plumbing apprenticeship required, may be obtained upon hire Knowledge of residential and/or commercial sewer systems preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Good character and ability to work well within a team Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Neat, clean, and organized work habits Strong work ethic
