DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the drainage and plumbing industry
  • Prior supervisory experience essential
  • Knowledge of Drainage CCTV surveys and reports
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer systems
  • Strong operational problem-solving skills
  • Ability to give clear instructions and coach engineers both on-site and remotely
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive leadership style with the ability to influence and motivate teams

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Engineers & General Assistants, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
  • Visit client sites, liaising with customers, contractors, and IVDC staff
  • Enforce Health & Safety compliance and carry out site audits, incident investigations, and training
  • Manage resources including labour, machinery, materials, and subcontractors
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and fleet management tasks
  • Support Engineer and GA training
  • Resolve customer and public complaints through investigation and communication
  • Assist operations and sales teams with project planning and issue resolution
  • Provide cover for other supervisors and take part in the out-of-hours rota
