JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to join our team and help us grow our business. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, creating, and implementing strategies to reach them, as well as building and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
As a Business Development Manager, you will have a strong sales and marketing background, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You will also have a passion for finding and creating new business opportunities, and a drive to achieve sales targets and grow the company’s revenue.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or marketing ideally in the waste management industry.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
  • Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current clients.
  • Pitch sales and products to new and existing clients
  • Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends.
  • Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
