Whether you’re looking for surf before work, sunshine year-round, or a tight-knit team culture, this could be your next big move.
As Eastland’s largest consolidated services contractor (Power, Plumbing, Electrical and Building Services), ElectriNET – part of the Horizon Energy Group – is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Drainlayer / Plumber to join our Gisborne-based team.

What’s in it for you?

  • A permanent, full-time role
  • Paid birthday leave (celebrate on us!)
  • Life and critical illness cover
  • Tool of Trade Vehicle
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and development
  • Competitive pay + job security in a thriving business
  • Supportive, safety-first culture with a focus on work-life balance

The Role

Reporting to the Plumbing Supervisor, you’ll:

  • Deliver plumbing and drainlaying services across installations, repairs, and maintenance – across our residential and commercial clients
  • Work independently or as part of a team to get the job done right – safely, efficiently, and to industry standard
  • Play a hands-on role in ensuring high-quality outcomes for our customers

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re qualified – and hold a National Certificate in Plumbing & Drainlaying
  • NZ registration and current practicing licence (certifying a bonus but not essential)
  • Ideally, you hold 5 years’ proven plumbing/drainlaying experience
  • Current manual NZ driver licence (Class 1)
  • Strong technical skills – from interpreting plans to troubleshooting on the fly
  • Team player with a safety-first mindset
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
  • You understand the NZ ways of working, laws and legislation – local experience is a must!
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Why ElectriNET?

This is your chance to step into a stable, rewarding role with real lifestyle perks – in one of New Zealand’s most desirable regions.
