We currently have four open part time positions for the 2025-2026 school year in Mankato, St. Peter, New Ulm, and Cleveland, Minnesota. Teachers must be available between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Monday-Thursday. Applicant must have transportation. Drama Kids is a Creative Drama & Literacy Enrichment Program where kids “Act Up” with a purpose! We work with our students' imagination and creativity to develop communication skills, public speaking, leadership/teamwork and acting abilities, while building their confidence and social-emotional skills in a creative and safe place. Join a Program that Changes Lives! We are looking for part time caring, fun and motivated teachers that are passionate about developing children to join our growing team. Our teachers believe in what they do and that they can affect positive change every day. Their energy and enthusiasm encourages kids to become the best communicators they can be! Our goal is to develop kids who are able to strive and thrive. As a member of our great team you will: Work 4-6 hours per week in the afternoon and early evening Teach and mentor students from 4 to 14 years of age. Starting pay is $25/class. Once fully trained, Lead teachers will be paid up to $50/class. We also offer mileage if traveling outside of Mankato.  We are looking for people that: Have a heart for kids! Are looking for a very part time and fun opportunity. Have teaching experience and excellent classroom management skills. Are performance oriented. Have excellent communication and organizational skills With HIGH ENERGY and flexibility. Have afternoons available. Are willing and able to commit for at least one school year. Have theater experience. Education experience.
Responsibilities
Teach and mentor students aged 4 to 14 in a creative drama and literacy enrichment program. Focus on developing students' communication, leadership, and social-emotional skills through acting.
