We are seeking a Drama Teacher for a private high school based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of Drama to secondary school students, including middle and high school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Prepare lessons and lectures, develop teaching materials, design and correct assessments, and write report comments Guide students in performance skills, theatre appreciation, script work, stage presence, and creative expression Organize and support drama performances, school productions, showcases, and related extracurricular activities Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive, creative, and safe learning environments Participate in school activities as arranged by the school Bachelor degree or above in Drama, Performing Arts, Theatre, Education, or a related subject Teaching certificate Two or more years teaching experience in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject Experience teaching secondary school students is preferred Excellent communication skills Monthly salary range of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB and is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications Fully furnished apartment provided Summer and winter holidays Public holidays On-going teacher training and support Medical health insurance Residence and work permit sponsored
