We are looking for a Elementary School Drama Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from the upcoming 2026–27 academic year in August, 2026. About the school Located in a modern, high-tech district of southwest Chengdu, this spacious and well-equipped campus offers both international and bilingual curricula, serving students from Pre-K through Grade 11, with plans to expand to Grade 12. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of Drama to elementary school students utilizing an American international curriculum and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Bachelor’s degree in your subject area Strong communication skills Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 30,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 3,500 RMB or free accommodation Fully paid summer and winter holiday Public holiday Free tuition for up to 2 children Flight allowance Finish contract bonus Annual bonus Commercial medical insurance
