POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to lead a weekly drama class (Wednesday’s from 6:00-7:00pm) for a group of neurodivergent adults. The instructor will create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where participants can explore self-expression, creativity, and teamwork through drama activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Background in drama, theater, or performance arts.
• Experience teaching or facilitating groups; experience with neurodivergent individuals is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity, patience, and a commitment to inclusive programming.

• Plan and lead weekly one-hour drama classes tailored to the needs of neurodivergent adults.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and self-confidence.
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
• Submit lesson outlines in advance to the program coordinator.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure the safety and engagement of all participants.
