DRAUGHTSPERSON - ROLE OVERVIEW

My client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Design Project Manager to lead projects through the full design phase. This role involves working closely with clients to interpret and refine their design vision into practical, technical joinery drawings. You will use produce manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, coordinate materials and production details, and ensure installation requirements are fully considered from the outset. This includes attending site surveys as needed to support accurate design development and installation planning.

DRAUGHTSPERSON - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage bespoke joinery projects throughout the design process, from client brief to production handover
• Translate client concepts and architectural drawings into detailed technical joinery drawings using SolidWorks
• Collaborate with internal designers, production teams, and external stakeholders
• Conduct and interpret site surveys, identifying key install and build considerations
• Review materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes to ensure feasibility and quality
• Monitor project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule
• Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and approvals
