Description

This position is responsible for daily safety and security of the facility and management of daily client census, movement, count, and accountability controls. The Security Supervisor is tasked with securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors. Duties and Responsibilities * Treat all clients and staff with dignity and respect * Assist in training staff on security, risk management, disaster plan, fire drills, emergency evacuations, etc. * Maintain accountability of all security checkpoints and exits * Supervise residents in the facility * Supervise the perimeter of the facility ensuring security and safety of the facility. * Coordinate the intake and discharge process with the Operations team * Conduct facility searches * Ensure urine collection and breathalyzer tests * Assist with administering risk management issues as it relates to the security of the facility, such as disaster plan, fire drills, emergency evacuations, etc. * May attend disciplinary hearings of clients when needed * Other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Designee Minimum Requirements Education/Training: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant experience
