QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & KNOWLEDGE:

To be successful in this role, you will be a strong performer with the ability to lead through positive actions. You will have great ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels; while having strong Underground mining experience with a practical understanding of underground drainage, power, air, water, ventilation and backfill techniques.

  • Minimum of 2 years underground metalliferous mining experience
  • Technical experience, especially in mine scheduling and planning experience, will be well regarded.
  • Practical underground experience will be well regarded.
  • Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering (Essential).
  • Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC) (Essential).
  • Manual Drivers license.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Deswik solutions
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Maintain a cost-conscious culture is practiced by team members.
  • Timely delivery of plans for customers, including reporting & document control
  • Consistently apply Workplace Management Procedures to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, agreed visions and values, and MMG Code of Conduct
