Experienced and developing engineers within the Mining and Civil industries are encouraged to apply. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking to develop a Technical Expert in the field of Drill & Blast. Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, you will be a key team member responsible for safe and well fragmented blast designs with fine attention to detail to Environmental considerations. As a complex mining operation, you will be exposed to a wide range of blasting environments from through-seam, cast blasting and vibration sensitive through to traditional blasting methodologies. Professional development is at the core of the Technical Services Team and there are defined pathways for engineers to progress their career into both Technical and Leadership roles from Engineer, Senior Engineer, Superintendent to Manager roles within the Technical Services team. Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) produces some of the world’s highest quality thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal for export. Our operation comprising of HVO North and HVO South – are in Lemington near the NSW Upper Hunter town of Singleton. Considering a career with HVO?
