Reports to: Superintendent Position: Full time Schedule: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day BFC is looking for Drill Rig Operators to support us on our projects in Florida. Requirements Supervisory Responsibilities: • None Responsibilities of this Position: • Operating BAUER drill rigs as required for site • Assisting in setting up the rig and equipment to conditions found as well as in moving it • Reporting rig and equipment maintenance and unanticipated field changes to the superintendent and suggest possible solutions • Performing and documenting pre/post-shift inspections and report drilling activities • Complying with regulatory safety regulations, code requirements and company policies • Participating in safety meetings and documentation of equipment safety inspection audits • Establishing and maintaining continuous positive and profitable working relationships with customers and a positive motivating work environment for the rig crew Requirements: • 2-5 years of experience in operating BAUER drilling and piling rigs for DSM or CFA projects. • Valid driver's license • Willingness to travel • Experience required/Certification preferred Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather • Must be able to stand and sit for 10-12 hours Education and Experience: • High School diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 2 years of related experience as Drill Rig Operator on construction sites preferred • Ability to work independently and on a team Compensation and benefits: Competitive salary; exact compensation commensurate with experience.
