Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Drilling Contract & Procurement Engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This expatriate position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in drilling operations, contract management, and procurement processes within the oil and gas industry. Manage all aspects of drilling contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and administration Develop and implement procurement strategies for drilling equipment, materials, and services Conduct thorough cost analyses and risk assessments for drilling projects Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal terms and conditions Oversee the tender process for drilling-related contracts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with project timelines Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions Implement and maintain procurement software systems Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal departments Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in drilling contract management and procurement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering Minimum 5-7 years of experience in drilling contract management and procurement Professional certification in Contract Management or Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPM) Extensive knowledge of drilling operations and the oil and gas industry Strong understanding of international contract law and procurement processes Proven experience in negotiation, risk assessment, and cost analysis Proficiency in procurement software and project management tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Willingness to work as an expatriate in Lagos, Nigeria International experience in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred Additional Information Duration of the mission : mini 12 months in family or single rotation status Starting Date : asap
