As an Assistant Manager you will work in a fast-paced customer-focused organization that is preparing for growth. We are seeking a leader to support the business by communicating, tracking, training and coaching all team members on achieving service, quality and revenue goals as a team.
As an Assistant Manager you will oversee team members in the development of the business and in the continual pursuit of Operational Excellence while creating a positive work culture. The Assistant Manager is in constant contact with the leadership team and Owner/Operator as to what is happening in their scope of responsibility.

Position Type: Full-time Day & Evening Shifts (available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with Saturday availability and Part-time Day & Evening Shifts (available to work a minimum of 24 hours a week with Saturday availability) Both Full-time and Part time positions require the ability to either Open (6am) or Close (work until the restaurant is clean and stocked the next day)
Pay Range: Highly Competitive Pay based on Experience and Availability $19-$21

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be over 18 years of age

  • One year minimum of Hospitality/Customer Service Management experience

Responsibilities
  • Oversee an area of the restaurant and team while working your scheduled shift
  • Provide leadership support to Director while including them in decisions that impact the business and customer experience
  • Ensure and coach Team Members to consistently follow all Chick-fil-A processes and procedures
  • Facilitate Shift Management - breaks, communication, call-off management, reward & recognition, discipline et. al.
  • Consistently coach and mentor team members around established procedures and best practices
  • Empower, encourage and provide feedback to team members on a daily basis
  • Greeting and serving guests with enthusiasm, courtesy, and hospitality
  • Preparing & packaging food orders for catering, drive-thru, and/or in store
  • Must love to smile and connect with people
  • Assist leadership in executing opening or closing procedures
  • Ensure all team members on shift are aware of plan for the day
  • Provide training and coaching to team members in how to present food to guest with neatness and attractiveness
  • Appropriately handle all customer issues and play a positive role in customer recovery
  • Perform discipline for actions that do not meet Chick-fil-A standards as well as violations of the Team Member Handbook
  • Responsible for all cash management duties. Count down registers, tracking cash and coupon accountability, change fund management, daily report(s)
  • Stock front counter, drive-thru and/or dining room inventory as needed
  • Keep the front counter, drive-thru, dining room, and/or restrooms neat, clean, and orderly at all times
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 9 hours and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Model and support clear communications between the front counter and kitchen teams
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Follow all food and physical safety procedures
  • Read, understand and comply with all parts of the Team Member Handbook
  • Understand all aspects of Second Mile Service, Operational Excellence and Creating Emotional Connections
  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week (Full-time) or 24 hours a week (Part-time) with Saturday availability (as well as opening / closing shift availability)
