Description Cape Cod Lumber, an employee-owned company, is looking for Drive-thru/Warehouse Customer Service team members. This individual will assist customers in our drive-thru lumber yard, locating and loading lumber & building materials onto the customer’s vehicle. He/She will also assist in keeping areas stocked, safe, and clean. Forklift truck experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to work outside year-round in a fast-paced environment. Lifting a minimum of 80 lbs. is required. Individuals must be positive, upbeat, and possess strong customer service skills. Accuracy is also a must. You will also be asked to assist in other areas of warehouse and yard as needed. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Services customers, stores material and product in their area of responsibility and maintain a clean and safe workplace. Always keeping in mind the customer’s needs, follow the CCL Mission Statement (CARE) and maximize the profitability of the Company by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be willing to contribute to any area needed for the betterment of Cape Cod Lumber. Customers are to be greeted and waited on in a prompt and courteous manner. Marks customer slips for accuracy of listed items. Alternate as back-up to gate guard. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens lifts, crates and other containers. Always stores material in a safe and protected manner. Uses computer to check inventory. Maintain a high level of organization and housekeeping. Perform duties in a safe manner and remain alert to any unsafe working conditions. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
