Lauderdale, FL 33309 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Transportation Summary: Drives a straight truck or tractor-trailer combination to transport donated goods to and from Goodwill collection sites and stores. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operate the straight truck or tractor-trailer unit safely and efficiently. Report any vehicle problems or defects. Transport and deliver goods per schedule. Load and unload merchandise as needed at Attended Donation Centers, stores, and other locations. Comply with the DOT standards and regulations. Maintain a good driving record. Ensure good customer relations by consistently servicing Attended Donation Centers on time and acting courteously and professionally. Complete and submit the daily trip manifest upon returning to the dispatch office. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience: A high school diploma or a GED is preferred, but not required. Two (2) years of straight truck or tractor-trailer driving experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work under specific instructions. Knowledge of Miami-Dade County roadways and areas is necessary. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: A Current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. Ryder Driver Certification. Must pass the DOT physical certification and be updated every two years. Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies.
