Job Details Job Location: Colfax, NC 27235 Duties/Responsibilities Inspect truck for any defective items at the beginning and end of each work day per DOT requirements. Perform pre-start-up inspection of road tractors and equipment to ensure all fluid levels, grease, tire pressures, hydraulic lines, batteries, etc. are in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Have, keep, and maintain in effect a current commercial driver's license and medical card in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. Perform a mechanical inspection on every piece of equipment hauled and turn in a vehicle inspection report daily. Complete all required documents, driver's daily log, time sheets, inspection report, etc. and submit to dispatcher each workday by 7:30 AM. Upon receiving instructions from dispatcher, equipment will be loaded and delivered to the job site on a timely basis. Report all mechanical malfuntions to supervisor immediately. The main mission of a tractor trailer driver is to pickup and deliver equpment to all job sites in a safe and timely manner as possible. May perform other related duties. Qualifications Current valid CDL class A with a clean driving record. Current medical card DOT experience preferred, but not required
