Description We are hiring a Driver / Activities Assistant to help residents stay engaged, connected, and active. This role supports our Life Enrichment/Activities department by transporting residents to appointments and outings, assisting with activities and events, and helping ensure resident safety and a great experience throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents to scheduled outings, appointments, and community events using company vehicle(s) Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs Assist Activities/Life Enrichment staff with daily group programs, special events, and community outings Help residents on and off the vehicle, including using mobility devices (wheelchairs/walkers) safely Track outing rosters, attendance, and required paperwork Support resident engagement by encouraging participation and providing respectful, friendly assistance Maintain a clean, organized activity areas and storage; assist with setup and breakdown Follow all safety policies, emergency procedures, and confidentiality standards Schedule Full-time Weekdays with occasional evenings/weekends for events and outings Qualifications Required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (able to meet insurability requirements) Ability to safely operate a van/small bus (training provided if applicable) Comfortable assisting seniors, including those using mobility aids Strong communication skills and a calm, safety-first mindset Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs (with reasonable accommodation) Preferred Experience in senior living, healthcare, transportation, or customer service CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with wheelchair securement and safe transfers (or willingness to learn) What Success Looks Like Residents arrive safely, on-time, and feel supported throughout transport and outings Activities are well-supported, organized, and residents are encouraged to participate Vehicle and equipment are maintained, clean, and ready for daily use Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay $18-$20 (based on experience) Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Retirement Plan with Employer Match Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Leave (in accordance with Colorado HFWA) Free On-Site Meals Training and growth opportunities Work Environment This role is active and people-facing.
