We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Driver and Retail operative supporting with driving our van to collect and deliver items of donated furniture and goods for the charity shop as well as assisting in the shop itself.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include driving the van to collect and deliver items of furniture, clothes and other items from donors’ homes, assisting in the collection, lifting, loading and unloading of goods as required, many of which can be heavy, carrying out safety checks on the vehicle, ensuring it is kept in good working order, planning journeys so that mileage is kept to a minimum the most time effective routes are utilised.
Assist with the preparation of furniture for sale and to assist with displaying goods within the shop, serve customers and promote sales in the shop, working with other staff and our team of volunteers.
