The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and 360 camera systems. ADAS also developed Ford's industry-first Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, securing over 60 patents in the process. The team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of these features into production on all Ford vehicle lines. In this position... You will work as a camera feature systems engineer in the ADAS System Engineering organization developing feature content like 360 Camrea, Turn Signal Views, Hitch Views, Camera on Demand, as well as connected vehicle services like Video Streaming and Security Cameras, As a systems engineer you will work on all aspects of the feature including HMI, external lighting, functional Safety failure mode avoidance ASPICE, regulatory compliance development design verification and validation. You will develop features through the system V process all the way from high level concept to technology requirements, and support development from prototypes through production implementation and launch.
