Description Texas Wood Supply is a Manufacturing Hardwood Moulding Company that operates 7 retail stores and 3 production sites throughout Texas. We are looking for a Driver Assistant with a positive attitude and sense of urgency. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a team environment. Accountabilities Assist company drivers with the deliveries Load and unload delivery trucks Contact customers to confirm delivery details Conduct routine vehicle maintenance inspections Verify delivery confirmation May be required to drive the company vehicle as needed Perform general warehouse tasks. Including: receiving, organizing, and storing inventory Assist in the assembly and production of door components as part of the manufacturing process Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently May be required to drive company vehicle as needed Other duties as assigned We look for team members who embody the following values and characteristics: Works with urgency and purpose to deliver quality products. Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable): None Requirements Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required Must be at least 21 years of age Able to Operate GPS Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and more than 50 lbs. with assistance Perform repetitive tasks Sit or stand for extended periods. Knowledge and Skills: Basic computer and math skills required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
