Shaw healthcare is looking for a Driver to join the team in Danybryn You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Danybryn has an excellent reputation as highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.
Provide transportation for employees and service users of the service.
To provide a high-quality service.
To welcome and be courteous to all who use the service.
Ensure the safety of passengers and the vehicle.
To collect day and deliver employees at the agreed times, to the agreed collection and departure points. You could also be asked to collect items for our residents.
To ensure that at all times the vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition and to immediately report any vehicle defects to the Manager.
To undertake daily vehicle safety and conditions checks, to include, lights, tyre conditions and pressure, oil and coolant levels, seat beats, washers and wipers.
To always drive safely, observing all traffic and speed regulations.
To report any matters of concern to the Manager in regards to the vehicle including wear and tear
Promptly report any accidents, adverse incidents or observations of injury, and report to the Manager any incidents or accidents relating to use of the vehicle.
Understand your role by implementing Shaw policies and Best Practice guidelines.
