ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Driving Bluejack vehicles per the designated routes Cleaning and maintaining the vehicle, including taking the vehicle to designated area for clean out, fresh water/soap/disinfectant and fuel for the next day Performing minor repairs to the vehicle (e.g., tightening loose bolts/fittings, inspecting all moving parts, lubing fittings, and replacing damaged parts) Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles Helping facilitating necessary repairs as needed Reporting any issues promptly, whether with driver, vehicle, or passengers Monitoring the need for major repairs, including engine tune-up, oil change, filter change, and tire replacements Performing other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. May require weekdays, weekends, and Holidays. Schedule flexible as business dictates. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
