We are looking for a full-time Driver to join our busy team!

Responsibilities:

  • Transport freight and bulk commodities safely and on time
  • Pick-up and deliver various products as per dispatch requirements
  • Complete paperwork filled out fully and accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle (interior and exterior) and preserve company image
  • Placard trucks according to TDG procedures
  • Handle all freight and bulk commodities in a safe manner
  • Keep in continual communication with the Dispatch & Logistics department
  • Report any safety concerns to the dispatch
  • Report any commodity or equipment damages to dispatch immediately
  • Maintain daily inspections and e-logs per Ministry regulations
  • Warehouse duties when not driving – production activities, forklift operation, preparing loads, cleaning, assisting with inventory and other duties as assigned
  • Following all required company safety policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, being clean shaven when required to wear a respirator
  • Other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

  • Completed High School Diploma
  • Must possess a valid Class AZ driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract and have a minimum of three years’ driving experience
  • Required to travel to the US and must possess a valid FAST card
  • Safe and proper handling of all equipment and products
  • Heavy lifting, pulling and pushing required
  • Understanding of transportation regulations and shipping documents
  • Maintain professionalism at all times
  • Carefully complete all documents required
  • Mechanical aptitude as pertaining to maintaining motor vehicles
  • May be required to complete drug/alcohol testing
  • Must be a team player
  • Experience transporting compressed gases will be considered an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Travel required
  • Required to work both indoors and outdoors
  • Overtime as required
  • Weekend work may be required, as per the on-call schedule
  • Ability to lift 50-60 pounds
