We have an exciting opportunity for a Driver to support the team in St Peters Hospital, Newport. This role will support our service users to attend activities including sensory drives, taking and picking up from appointments, home visits, collection of medications and shopping. When working as a driver you will act as a secondary Support Worker when out in the community for our service users, as such in addition to a clean UK licence you will ideally have experience of working in a similar role in the care sector and have compassion for others.
St Peter’s Hospital in Newport, South Wales offers 51 beds split into single-gender units and provides specialist treatment and nursing care that focuses on delivering positive outcomes for our patients, their families and our commissioners.
We are seeking to appoint a Driver/ Carer to cover Saint Peters Hospital, Newport. Driving our Clients to various appointments, recreational and social activities, acting as a second carer. Ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained and being responsible for daily and weekly vehicle checks.
