We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up and transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in GTA & Oshawa area driving with a valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.

• Safely operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by company policy.
• Communicate effectively with Branch regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading freight.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including basic automotive repairs when necessary.
