You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer service and communication with team members and supervisors. Responsibilities Transport construction materials and equipment to job sites in a timely and safe manner Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Maintain accurate records of deliveries and schedule, including mileage and fuel usage Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed Provide exceptional customer service to clients when interacting on job sites Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor. Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in the construction industry Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy loads and long hours Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work conditions. Successfully pass a Pre-Employment DOT drug screening.
