Class A Driver Job Duties Operate company owned road tractors, van trailers, scrap haulers, roll off truck, lugger truck and other equipment to service local customer base (home every night). Maintain a Class A license, clean MVR, and participate in DOT required random procedure. Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. Identify unsatisfactory scrap containers and tag containers in accordance with applicable departmental procedures. Secure loads. Comply with workplace safety practices/standards and DOT regulations. Required Qualifications/Skills/Education Must have a Class “A” CDL driver license. Must pass a DOT physical. Must have two years of verifiable tractor/trailer or roll off driving experience. No on-road preventable accidents during the past three years as shown on the motor vehicle record. No more than one moving violation on the MVR in the previous three years.
