CDL Class A Driver Location:  Denver, CO Reports To:  Dispatcher Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary We’re looking for a Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials and goods to our customers. This is a hands-on, active job that includes driving, loading and unloading, and helping the team stay safe and on schedule. You’ll be the face of our company to customers—so safety, professionalism, and dependability are a must. What You’ll Do (Essential Functions) * Drive a semi-truck safely and legally, following all Colorado, Denver, and federal traffic and DOT rules. * Deliver loads to customer locations on time and in full, using the safest route. * Park and back up into tight spaces (with help from our loading crew). * Help load and unload products (sometimes using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks). * Return equipment like pallets and skids after deliveries. * Keep track of all delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping forms, etc.) and hand it in at the end of your route. * Check the truck regularly (oil, fuel, tires, etc.) and report issues to the Dispatcher or Maintenance Team. * Move trailers around the yard to keep the warehouse running efficiently. * Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or incidents right away. * Do other tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Time Breakdown * 90% – Driving and delivering goods to customers * 10% – Administrative tasks (printing orders, attending safety meetings, giving feedback, etc.) What You Need (Requirements) * Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) * At least 1 year of safe driving experience with a Class A truck * Pass a DOT background check and drug test (required by law) * Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in all types of weather Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work Environment: * Outdoor work in various weather conditions — frequent * On the road or in truck cab — constant Physical Demands: * Sitting for long periods — constant * Standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs — frequent * Repetitive movement and physical work — frequent Why Work With Us?
