About the role Salvo Stores are seeking a Driver to support collection and delivery of goods and items to support operations. Our drivers work flexible hours between 8-4, with weekends off, meaning that you’ll have more time to spend doing the things you love outside of work! Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this is a permanent full-time role, located in Central Sydney, New South Wales. You Will Successfully: Collect and deliver goods, including textiles and furniture, from various locations to stores and warehouses in a safe and timely manner. Collect and dispose of rubbish from stores and warehouses at designated landfill or recycling centres. Load/unload trucks, maintain company vehicles and equipment, and follow all inspection and cleaning procedures. Complete required documentation and update job statuses using provided technology, following established guidelines. Ensure safe conditions for vehicles, stores, and warehouses, and report issues to management promptly while adhering to health and safety guidelines. You Will Have: Relevant driving license (medium rigid or equivalent). Relevant license to operate a counterbalance forklift (desirable). A National Police Check will be required. About You: Demonstrated driving experience in a medium rigid or equivalent vehicle. Sound verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of people. Demonstrated experience working in a customer facing role (highly regarded). Demonstrated experience in furniture removal or similar roles (preferred).
