JOB SUMMARY

As a Driver for our Production team at the Saint-Constant location, you will help load and drive trucks to deliver lab animals and food to clients or the airport.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Deliver animals, food, and/or bedding to customers’ homes or the airport;
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks;
  • As requested, retrieve and coordinate supplies for other Charles River locations;
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on trucks with the cooperation of employees working outside.

KEY ELEMENTS

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  • High school diploma;
  • Commercial driving license for large vehicles (class 3) and a clean driving record;
  • Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair;
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 25 to 30 kg);
  • Bilingual.

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: 324 Rang St-Régis Nord, St-Constant, QC, J5A 2E7 / Free parking;
  • Salary: $18/hrs;
  • Schedule: Must be available from Sunday to Friday. Start 5:00AM or 6:00AM depending on the route. Also, for US routes, employees sleep outside.
  • Full-time position, 40hrs per week.
