Job Details Job Location: Philadelphia, PA Salary Range: Undisclosed Description At Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC), our staff is dedicated to addressing the impact of childhood traumatic events and other challenges. The Driver will safely transport children ages 5-13 presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues. Responsibilities include; Transport children safely during morning arrivals and afternoon departures during the first 3 days of services while assisting passengers on and off the vehicle Provide families with safe transportation to scheduled site visits, ensuring door-to-door transport and assisting passengers on and off the vehicle Conduct pre & post shift inspection of the company vehicle to ensure a safe journey for our children and their families, including vehicle cleanliness and adequate gasoline for vehicle Immediately report to Facilities Director any maintenance or service repair issues so that immediate actions are taken Review ModivCare forms and manifest to ensure children are accepted for their service and adjust as needed to CCTC van manifest Provide manifest of children to be transported daily, submit to Administrative Specialist as well as Program Director by 2:30pm daily Maintain accurate records and logs of trip information and submit weekly to Facilities Manager Transport any of the four Care Coordinator and other program staff to conduct home visits as needed Assist with other program needs: cleanliness of facility, small maintenance issues that can be addressed on site, deliver interoffice mail to main office, deliver completed food service forms to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and support any other program needs as appropriate The driver is responsible for paying any parking or other vehicle violation tickets that are a result of their own actions and will do so within the expected timeframe once informed of the violation Participation in internal as well as external training to ensure completion of CCTC mandatory trainings Immediately employs Sanctuary Model with clients, families and staff and monitors its use in the Acute Partial Program to effectively maintain the Sanctuary Model for all Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Have a valid driver's license and possess an excellent driving record. The ability to work effectively with diverse cultures including those CCTC serves, staff, other provider agencies, payers and regulatory agencies. This individual will have strong organizational skills that serve to support CCTC’s mission and vision. Covid-19 Vaccination required.
Responsibilities
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting children presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues. This includes conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining records, and assisting with program needs.
