Job Specification Employees predominantly engage in the following essential job functions during their day-to-day activities. Perform both loading and unloading of the truck Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle daily Perform general housekeeping task and maintain cleanliness of vehicles Perform preventative maintenance Maintain all paperwork necessary Monitor and maintain truck fueling Oversee proper loading and unloading of trucks Secure cargo for safe transport Receive/follow dispatch instructions Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations and company policies Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service Adherent to safety protocols such as seat belts and personal protective equipment Complete all returns using handheld devices Qualifications and Experience Strong work ethic High attention to detail Basic computer knowledge – must use BASIS, MS Good communication skills, both verbal and written Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (required) Clean work, driving, and criminal history Able to pass random Drug test Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to pass a dot physical exam and maintain a valid medical examiner’s certificate.
