Deliver, pick up, load and unload heavy steel & aluminum equipment at Vandalia Rental SOS and customer sites. Secure all loaded equipment per company and legal requirements. Operate equipment and a crane truck as needed. Address and answer any concerns and questions the customer may have. Most importantly.........Be Safe and HAVE FUN! Requirements Must have a CLASS A CDL with an acceptable driving record Must be able to drive a manual truck Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance Must be able to Stand for long periods of times, often all day Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently Must be able to able to be exposed to and work in: air conditioned and non-air conditioned, inside/outside environments (including changing weather conditions,) occasional noise in excess of 100 decibels, dirt, grease, oil and other non-hazardous chemical encounters, all other elements presented by the day-to-day operations consistent with a construction/industrial equipment rental company Must have proficient computer/tablet skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based applications, internet and email required Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, often whole shift Climb as needed; in and out of trucks and on and off of trailers Must have a winning attitude and a desire to have fun!
