Description Driver (Class C) The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of glass, screens, and related products to customers. This role requires strong attention to safety, customer service, and accurate recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles (non-CDL), including trucks and vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies Deliver products to customers efficiently while meeting designated route schedules Load, secure, transport, and unload materials to prevent damage or injury Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, delivery times, and fuel usage Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules or issues Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary Ensure cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle (cab and cargo area) at the end of each shift Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely Follow all company safety rules and procedures Work overtime as needed based on business demands Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Valid California Class C Driver’s License Acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy (no DUI convictions) Minimum of 1–2 years of delivery or commercial driving experience preferred Familiarity with Bay Area routes is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Regulatory Requirements Must meet all applicable DOT and company driver requirements Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card) required, if applicable based on vehicle type and weight Education High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 pounds or more Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
