Description Position Summary The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes in a safe driving manner, checking in orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Duties and Responsibilities Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner Checking in orders to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles Accepting payments on occasion Providing excellent customer service Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record including E-logs when required Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries Having the customer sign for the delivery and noting on the invoice any product not on truck, damaged or refused Requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record Medical DOT Card Minimum one year of experience required Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and DOT regulations Strong time management and customer service skills Must possess a positive and professional attitude Attention to detail Benefits Medical, dental, vision Company-provided Basic Life/AD&D policy Supplemental Life 401(k) with employer match Employee discount Paid vacation/holidays Working Conditions. Driver will be outside in all weather conditions Sitting, driving, lifting, and carrying up to 70 lbs.
