Carteret Management Corporation is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Driver to transport residents of our apartment communities in downtown Jacksonville. If you're a safe driver with a friendly attitude and a commitment to excellent service, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do As our Part-Time Driver, you'll play an important role in helping residents get where they need to go safely and comfortably. Responsibilities include: Safely transport residents on scheduled routes and outings. Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed. Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain monthly trip logs and required documentation. Coordinate and ensure routine vehicle maintenance is completed. Keep the vehicle fueled, clean, and ready for service. Operate the vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal, and DOT regulations. Monitor and replenish emergency and first aid supplies as needed. Requirements Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws and DOT regulations. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card). Knowledge of highway safety rules and regulations. Professional, dependable, and courteous with excellent customer service skills. Drug-Free Workplace. EOE.
