Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Staff and authorized passengers are transported safely and punctually without incidents Transport staff, and visitors to field locations, meetings, and official assignments safely and on time. Follow traffic regulations, security guidelines, and organizational travel procedures. Plan travel routes and ensure safe driving in various road and weather conditions. Vehicle remains safe, clean, and operational for daily project activities Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, tires, brakes) before and after trips. Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition. Report mechanical problems or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor. Transport records are accurate and compliant with organizational policies Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks including mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details. Ensure vehicle registration, insurance, and required documents are valid and available in the vehicle. Follow organizational policies related to vehicle use and transport documentation. Safe travel operations with adherence to security procedures Follow organizational safety and security protocols during travel. Remain alert to road and security conditions and report incidents or concerns immediately. Support staff safety during field movements and emergency situations. Project travel needs are supported efficiently and professionally Provide transportation support for project activities, workshops, and field visits. Assist staff during travel arrangements as requested by supervisors. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE Minimum high school completion or equivalent At least 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably with NGOs or international organizations. Experience driving in rural and off-road conditions is an advantage. Clean driving record with a valid national driving license. Excellent command of Myanmar, and workable English as required. Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and travel conditions. Strong awareness of road safety and defensive driving practices. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Good interpersonal skills and respectful communication with staff and community members. Good health and travel to project area Willingness to travel frequently to field locations and work flexible hours when required. Basic understanding of humanitarian work environment is an advantage.
