Compensation: Starting (US) hourly rates $18 - $20 Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm                    Friday - Tuesday from 7am -3:30pm (Temporary) Must possess a clean driving record (5 years or more). Must be 25 years of age for fleet insurance purposes. All employment offers will be contingent upon successfully obtaining a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) which must be clear to proceed. If offered/selected for the position you will be asked to provide an MVR printout from the DMV on the first day of employment. Required Skills/Abilities: * Entry Level Position: We Are Happy to Train * Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples and driving to and from the laboratory/clients’ sampling site * Interact with customers during sample collection and submission * Strive to maximize driving route efficiency * Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures * Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory * Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed * Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety behaviors * Promote a professional company image through exemplary customer relationship skills * Refer customer inquiries, routing or schedule change requests, and/or complaints to the appropriate Manager * Ensure proper sample submission and chain of custody protocols are followed * Suggest and implement continuous process improvement initiatives * Support laboratory-based functions including sample intake/preparation, cleaning, etc. * Perform other activities as assigned by management We'd Love to Hear from People: * Who are at least 25 years of age (for vehicle insurance purposes) * Who live within 30 miles of Madison, WI. * Who have previous long-distance driving / delivery experience * Who have a valid driver’s license; and have and maintained a clean DMV driving record for at least the previous 5 years * Who are able to pass a background check * Who will maintain a professional appearance * Who demonstrate a passion for getting things done the right way, display confidence in offering suggestions to enhance process efficiency, and the ability to take direction well * Who fluently read, write, and speak English and must be able to program and follow driving navigation software * Who can follow written and verbal instructions; work effectively within a collaborative team * Who have strong attention to detail; must possess excellent planning skills * Who are able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. * Who are comfortable sitting for long periods of time; may also be subject to bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) and have at least 1 year of previous driving experience. * Reliability, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.   All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
