JOB SUMMARY

MH Goals Ltd, is one of the UK’s leading sports equipment manufacturers and experts in goal post safety and design. Our goals can be found at national stadiums, title winning Premier League clubs, top universities and of course many grassroots clubs.
We are seeking a skilled Driver/Fitter to join our team, responsible for assembling and installing various products from our sports equipment range, such as football goals. The ideal candidate will be confident and competent in driving across England, Scotland and Wales in a company van, and then putting the components of our product together.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in fitting or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and project coordination.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • For business insurance reasons the successful applicant must be over the age of twenty -one. Applicants that are younger than this will not be considered.
  • This role will require the successful applicant to spend up to three or four evenings per week away from home, staying within a hotel. As our work is very seasonal; busier in the summer months, and quieter during the winter months, it is highly likely that weekly hours will exceed contracted hours

    Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical components accurately based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate a company vehicle (van) safely and efficiently
  • Product transportation and delivery
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that may arise
