Description Job Title: Driver FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Corporate Work Study Program Reports To: Transportation Coordinator POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Work Study Program Associate Directors and Coordinators, Drivers transport students to and from work on assigned routes. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently while providing a welcoming environment Ensure students are dropped off and picked up from work on schedule Supervise students on the van and report all disciplinary issues to the Corporate Work Study team Notify the Transportation Coordinator regarding maintenance and upkeep of van Complete checklists as requested Attend meetings and training as needed Complete transportation for special school functions Adhere to safety rules and driving laws Maintain trip log and reporting of pick-up, drop-offs, and accidents Perform other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Extended time sitting while driving routes in mini-vans and 11-passenger vans Some bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing Lifting and carrying as needed Requirements Must possess a valid Nevada driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report Driving experience required
