Our services have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and enable access to safe accommodation options, Holistic case management, community outreach programs and programs that teach vital independent living skills. About the Role We’re seeking a dedicated Drive for Life Instructor to support young people who may be in vulnerable or disadvantaged situations the opportunity and support to gain their driver’s licence. This is a permanent part-time role under the SCHADS Award – Level 4, involving 4 days per week. The position is based in Gympie. How you will make an impact As a Driver for Life Instructor, you will: Conduct client intake and assessments Organise and facilitate driving lessons, tracking client progress toward obtaining their Provisional licence Develop individualised, client-focused lesson plans tailored to learning needs and goals Teach practical driving skills and road safety awareness. Actively promote the program through engagement with community and youth services Assist with administrative functions and manage online bookings with TMR What you will bring: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse backgrounds Experience in youth work, driver education or community services.
