Description Are you passionate about helping others and enjoy being on the road? Join our LIFE Transportation team as a Driver and provide vital transportation services for elderly clients in Tulsa! Our LIFE PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team is dedicated to supporting seniors by helping them stay safely in their homes, avoiding nursing facility placement whenever possible. What You’ll Do: Safely transport seniors from their homes to our care center and to their scheduled appointments. Assist clients as they get in and out of vehicles, including ensuring secure wheelchair transport when needed. Keep vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained, coordinating with our dispatcher for regular servicing. Work closely with our team to follow assigned routes and scheduled rides. Maintain confidentiality and a professional, caring attitude with clients at all times. Requirements CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Holds and maintains a current Oklahoma Driver’s license Possess CPR and basic first aid certification EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience in working with a frail or elderly population preferred. Experienced in transporting individuals with special mobility needs preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Working knowledge of physical, mental and social needs of the frail elderly population. Function independently, have flexibility, and personal integrity. Skilled in identifying and recommending problem resolution; and ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Effective oral and written communication skills. This is a Safety Sensitive position requiring candidates to have: a background check, a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, TB screen.
