Located in an intimate but wide conservancy which hosts the two last Southern white rhinos of Mara, Fairmont Mara Safari Club gives guests the possibility to closely observe the big-5 and experience all types of safaris from night game drives, balloon safaris, nature walks and bike safaris. Job Description Reporting to Assistant Lodge Manager, responsibilities include but not limited to:- Ensure the highest quality of game drive experience for the guests Host guests online with the camps/resort standard of excellence Always shows an exceptional appreciation and sensitivity to the environment Capture and send to our marketing department on weekly basis for the social medial handles Conscientious maintenance and care of vehicle and related equipment Carries out admin duties timely and effectively Achieves excellence through teamwork Conduct trainings to new interns Conducts Cultural talks as required in liaison with the Front Office Other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time Qualifications Minimum two years in a similar role Holder of Silver medal from Kenya Professional and Safari Guides Association (KPSGA) Experience in hotel industry preferably in a resort Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to convey information and ideas clearly Work well in stressful, high pressure situations Must be able to perform assigned duties with attention to details, speed. accuracy, follow-through and courtesy.
