Description

 Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorization and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time.  Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients or business in a safe timely manner  Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.  Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, the customer is satisfied.  Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.  May have to lift heavy products.  Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.  Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive.  Communicates with customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival.  Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule.  Insure all delivery equipment is available before leaving the designated location.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe transport and timely delivery of items to clients while maintaining accurate documentation. Includes managing vehicle maintenance and providing high-quality customer service during deliveries.
