What’s In It For You: * Highly Competitive Pay * Comprehensive Health Benefits Package * 401(k) Plan with Company Matching Program * Various Employee-Centric Perks and Initiatives * Opportunities for Professional Development and Growth * A Collaborative and Inclusive Workplace Culture Your Role: As a Waste Collection Driver Helper, you will team with a Driver to assist in the collection of waste and recyclable material. * Assist the Driver in the collection of waste and recyclable materials from residential, commercial, and industrial sites * Ensure waste is properly sorted and loaded into the collection vehicle * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements * Communicate with the driver and other team members to ensure efficient route completion * Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service * Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle * Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT requirements * Report any issues or incidents to the driver or supervisor promptly * Must be able to consistently lift, push, and pull bags and receptacles that weigh 50-75+ pounds What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience in waste management or a similar role is a plus * Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Attention to detail and a commitment to safety * Valid driver’s license preferred but not required * Preferred: Bilingual Spanish or Creole
