Description Med Resources, the premier provider of Respiratory and Home Medical Equipment in the Midwest and Georgia is seeking a reliable and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Driver/HME technician. Responsibilities: Deliver and set up durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, and other assistive devices to patients using company vans. Assist with setting up and demonstrating equipment use, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with company policies. Assist the warehouse team when not performing duties outlined above. Includes unloading and restocking assigned van, cleaning and checking equipment, and general warehouse duties as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs, service records, and patient documentation. Communicate with dispatch, patients and caregivers regarding delivery schedules and special needs. Perform routine vehicle checks, report any maintenance issues and keep assigned van neat and organized. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment (must be able to pass 50 lb. lift test) Ability to read maps. Strong communication and customer service skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to work independently. DOT certified or ability to become DOT certified (Certification provided after hire). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
